PRX Derm Perfexion is a non-invasive skin treatment developed in Italy that rejuvenates the skin from the inside out. It’s made by WiQo®, the Italian skincare company behind the original PRX-T33 formula, so you may see both names used for the same treatment. While it contains trichloroacetic acid (TCA), a common peel ingredient, PRX Derm Perfexion is often called a “peel-less peel.”
Instead of removing the outer layer of skin, it penetrates deep into the dermis to trigger your skin’s natural renewal process. The surface stays completely intact, which is why there’s minimal to no peeling and no recovery time.
That’s the biggest difference between PRX and a traditional chemical peel. A peel works by intentionally breaking down the top layers of skin so they shed and make way for new skin underneath. PRX skips the shedding and goes straight to the source of firmer, healthier skin.
